Multiculturism

Our world becomes globalized. This process is close to its end. All cultures lose their originality and identity. People watch the same TV programs, eat food, produced by the same mega corporations, etc. people of different countries find more and more common in their everyday life and all differences now seem occasional and accidental. Besides, all differences are insignificant in comparison with common features. People become unified and similar to each other. There are advantages and disadvantages of this process. Among advantages are the gradual vanishing of all borders, easiness in finding mutual understanding, etc. Among disadvantages we can mention the vanishing of national languages and cultural diversity. All advantages and disadvantages are questionable, there are many views on this problem and different people have different ideas about these changes. Antiglobalists try hard to oppose these inevitable changes. All their attempts are useless and ineffective. Globalization is an integral part of the overall development of our world. Trying to stop the process of globalization means trying to stop development, which is impossible. Development is comparable with perpetual motion machine, which is impossible to stop.

Entertainment

Fortunately, there are a lot various means of entertainment. They are cinema, theater, clubs and so on. Each person can easily find his/her own type of entertainment. As for me I like going to the cinema. There I have an opportunity to forget about all my problems and plunge into the plot of the film and enjoy pleasant time. For me genre is not important. For me the most important thing is the very fact of attending cinema. I am fickle and like practically all genres and all films. Each film has its own idea, which is worth thinking it over and I think that each film is worth watching it. There are people, who think that watching TV is much better than going to the cinema. I think that these people overlook many things in this life. If don’t see the difference between the cinema and watching TV, they are rather narrow-minded and shallow people. They should understand that they compose minority. Each person has a TV set at home. Each has an opportunity to watch films at home. However, cinema is still rather a profitable business and many people attend cinemas and have a good time and enjoy life. I am very glad that there many people who think like me. When I watch a movie alone, it becomes uninteresting to me but when I watch t at the cinema, I feel emotions of other people, and thus my own emotions become stronger and I get such a great amount of energy!
